In the first part of this week’s episode the Squatch and Diamond Dave continue their coverage of the great Rocket Scientists, culminating in a track from their latest album, Refuel! In the second half of the show, they shift gears and move on to the folky Prog sounds of U.S. Band Cirrus Bay! (Fans of Gandalf’s Fist should love these guys!)
Rocket Scientists is a progressive rock band formed in the late 1980s by keyboardist Erik Norlander and vocalist / guitarist Mark McCrite. The band released their first CD, Earthbound, in 1993 joined by renown stick and bass man Don Schiff. Website: thetank.com/rocketscientists.htm
U.S. outfit Cirrus Bay began as an acoustic duo, but soon evolved into a Progressive Rock band with folk leanings and fantastic female vocals! Website: cirrusbay.com
