This week’s show is a special paying tribute to an icon of the Prog world whom we sadly lost a few weeks ago… Keith Emerson. The show will feature commentary from some of today’s Prog artists who knew Keith, and/or were inspired and influenced by him. Guests include Aaron Clift and Eric Gutierrez (of the The Aaron Clift Experiment), Erik Norlander (solo, Lana Lane, and Rocket Scientists), Dave Kerzner (solo, Sound of Contact, and Mantra Vega) and Luca Zabbini (of the Barock Project). (A great big THANK YOU to all the artists who contributed!) Of course, there will also be plenty of brilliant music spanning five decades.

Keith Noel Emerson (2 November 1944 – 10 March 2016) was an English keyboardist and composer. Emerson played in a number of bands before he found his first commercial success in the late 1960s with the Nice, formerly a backing band for P. P. Arnold. He became internationally famous for his work with the Nice, especially for writing rock arrangements of classical music. After leaving the Nice in 1970, he was a founding member of Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP), one of the most influential progressive rock supergroups of all time. Between ELP reunions and offshoot projects (Emerson, Lake and Powell and 3) he also scored numerous films and recorded albums with his own Keith Emerson band.
