This week’s episode begins with another voyage of Progressive Discovery with our resident reviewer, Dr. Rob Fisher of The Progressive Aspect and Progradar! This week, Rob has some insight into the latest album by Swedish band Wolverine! Then we move into the main body of the show: a feature on melodic proggers The Room! You’ll hear parts of a fun conversation I had with Andy Rowe and Martin Wilson of the band and we’ll hear some great music from The Room along the way! (I also slip in one from Martin’s previous band, Grey Lady Down!)

The Room are a melodic rock band from the Southeast of the UK. The five band members bring together a broad range of musical influences which has helped form the band’s distinctive style. Formed in 2010 by Martin Wilson and Steve Anderson from the prog rock band Grey Lady Down, who were joined by Andy Rowe, Andrew Rae and Steve Checkley. Eventually, Andrew Rae was replaced by current drummer Chris York. The band have two albums to their credit thus far and are often gigging around England.
