Prog-Watch 513

by The Prog Squatch | In Conversation with Erik Norlander of Dukes Of The Orient

This week I’m chatting with our old friend, Erik Norlander, mostly about his new project with John Payne called Dukes Of The Orient! We get the low down on the Dukes and some of Erik’s other endeavors, and along the way I spin plenty of great music, with an extra large helping of new Dukes Of The Orient music!

Keyboard maestro Erik Norlander is an American musician best known for his work in the Progressive Rock genre. He has released albums under his own name and guested on albums by Ayreon and many other artists. He is also a member of the band Rocket Scientists, works as musical director for his wife, singer and songwriter Lana Lane, and has toured with the Dio tribute band Last In Line. From 2007 to 2014 he was the touring and recording keyboardist for Asia Featuring John Payne. Their time working together led John and Erik to their latest joint endeavor, The Dukes Of The Orient.
