Guitar legend Mick Box has been rocking with Uriah Heep for approximately 50 years! This week he is my esteemed guest on Prog-Watch! Mick and I have a quick chat about the current Heep tour, their forthcoming album, and their PledgeMusic campaign, and along the way I spin lots of great Heep music, new and old!

Michael Frederick “Mick” Box (born 9 June 1947, in Walthamstow, East London, England) is the lead guitarist of British rock group Uriah Heep. For nearly 50 years, through numerous line-up changes, more than 25 studio album and countless live albums and compilations he has kept the Uriah Heep brand alive and thriving. At the time of this writing, he had just completed another album with the band (‘Living The Dream’, due late 2018) and was on tour. He is the only member from the band’s founding in 1969 who is still active with the group. Mick currently resides in North London with his second wife and son.
