This week on Prog-Watch: Part Two of my Dave Kerzner interview and artist feature! Hear the rest of my chat with Dave and lots of great music from his solo career, his new In Continuum  band, and Mantra Vega! 

 

David Nathaniel Kerzner is an American musician, songwriter, producer, and sound designer as well as founder of the sound sampling development company Sonic Reality Inc. Along with Simon Collins, Kerzner co-founded the band Sound of Contact. He is also the co-founder of the band Mantra Vega  His debut solo album, New World, was released in 2014, and Static followed in 2017. Most recently, Kerzner has put together a new band called In Continuum, which released a pair of albums with a science fiction theme in 2019. That year he also released a career retrospective compilation.

During his music career, Kerzner has worked with many other artists and bands such as Kevin Gilbert, Alan Parsons, Genesis, Francis Dunnery, Neil Peart, Keith Emerson, Steve Hackett, and Steven Wilson, to name but a few. Through his Sonic Elements project he has worked with some of these and many other artists on tribute albums to Rush and Yes.
