This week on Prog-Watch I’m taking a look at the rich and diverse Musical World of Phil Collins! We’ll hear music from Genesis, Brand X, and his solo career, and some of the noteworthy and interesting guest appearances Phil made on records by other artists including some of his Genesis bandmates, Frida, Robert Plant, Howard Jones, and more! Great drumming and singing will abound!

Philip David Charles Collins LVO (born 30 January 1951) is an English drummer, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and actor, best known as the drummer/singer of the rock band Genesis and for his solo career. When his work with Genesis, his work with other artists, as well as his solo career is totalled, he had more US Top 40 singles than any other artist during the 1980s. He has also been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades, including several Grammys, various American and Brit Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Ivor Novello Awards, a couple of Golden Globes, an Academy Award, and the list goes on! As a solo artist, Phil made eight solo albums to date and released 49 singles. He topped the charts numerous times in various major markets, and overall sold 34.5 million albums in the US and 150 million worldwide.
