On this week’s Prog-Watch my special guest is the charming Mariana Semkina of iamthemorning! Tune in to hear some of our chat, as well as lots of great iamthemorning music, and music from her solo career, including a few from her new EP Disillusioned!
Mariana Semkina was born and raised in Russia and as a young adult she began pursuing a career in music. With classically-trained pianist Gleb Kolyadin she formed iamthemorning in 2010, and the duo have released four studio albums to date. In 2020 she embarked on a solo career with the release of her solo debut Sleepwalking. An EP, Disillusioned, followed in 2021. Moving forward, Marjana intends to continue working as a solo artist and with Gleb in iammthemorning.
