Prog-Watch 227
Yes was one of the first Prog bands to resonate with the Squatch more than 30 years ago, and as a bass player and backing vocalist himself, he always admired the phenomenal talents of Chris Squire. When Chris passed Tony knew he had to do something in tribute. So he gives you Episode 227, with a montage of some of his favorite Yes music (with Chris prominently featured) as well as music from all of Chris’s solo albums and collaborations over the years.
Christopher Russell Edward Squire (4 March 1948 – 27 June 2015) was an English musician, singer and songwriter. He was best known as the bassist and founding member of the progressive rock band Yes. He was the only member to appear on each of their 21 studio albums, released from 1969 to 2014, and his influence can be heard in so much of the Progressive Rock made since the “Golden Age”.
