Prog-Watch 402

by The Prog Squatch | A Tribute To Greg Lake

Greg Lake was kind of a personal hero to me; and as a guy with a Prog Rock show, I couldn’t let his passing go without doing a tribute show. I’ve put together a nice career retrospective here, with some things you might not expect to hear and a few you may never have heard. So join me this week as I take a look back at a little of the impressive body of work left by Greg Lake. Requiescat in pace, Greg.

Gregory Stuart “Greg” Lake (10 November 1947 – 7 December 2016) was an English bassist, guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer who sprang to prominence as a founding member of the Progressive Rock bands King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP). A true icon who was there at the birth of the genre, he also had a solo career, and worked with Asia, Ringo & His All-Stars, the Who, Geoff Downes, and others.
