This week on Prog-Watch it’s Part Two of my coverage of Dave Bainbridge! More chat with Dave, more great solo music, and more great music from his work with the Strawbs, Lifesigns, the Downes Braide Association, and Dave Fitzgerald!

Dave Bainbridge is an English guitarist and keyboard player born in Darlington, UK. Coming from a musical family, Dave began playing both piano and guitar at an early age and attended the Leeds Music College, where he was the winner of the BBC Radio 2 Best Jazz soloist award (piano) and the Sam Hood Rosebowl for Outstanding Performance. Dave first came to prominence with the band Iona (which he co-founded), and has released several albums as a solo artist and collaborator, and with his own band Celestial Fire. Recently he has also worked with Lifesigns, the Strawbs, the Downes Braide Association, and Sally Minnear, the multi-instrumentalist and singer who is daughter of Kerry Minnear of Gentle Giant fame. Despite such a full schedule, Dave continues to write and record his own music. His most recent solo album To The Far Away was released to great acclaim late last year.
